You can import posts from other apps and automatically convert them into pages. That means you can save posts from another app as a ZIP file and then convert them into pages on YouBook. Once converted, you can group a few pages together and publish them as a minibook.

Log in to Substack

Go to Settings
Click “Dashboard” in the top-right corner → Select “Settings” -
Export Your Data
In the “Import/Export” section → Under “Export your data”, click “New export” -
Download
Click “Download” and Substack will prepare your ZIP file
How to Download Your Medium Posts as a ZIP File

Log in to Medium

Go to Settings
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner → Select “Settings” from the dropdown -
Request Your Data
In the “Security and apps” section, find “Download your information” -
Check Your Email
Once ready, Medium will send an email with a download link. Click the link to get your ZIP file
How to convert a ZIP file into pages
Click the MY – Import button on YouBook. After uploading your ZIP file, click “Convert to pages.”
It takes up to 5 seconds to convert one post. 10 posts take around 1 minute, 100 posts about 8 minutes.
To view converted pages, go to MY – My Journey – Pages made. Each post becomes one page. Each page is saved as a temporary draft and can be edited.
