What is the open period?
This refers to the period during which readers can access the content of the minibook. Of course, for paid minibooks, readers need to purchase them to view the content.
The default open period is set to 10 years from the publication date. Authors can extend or shorten the period as needed.
Is it possible to edit the open period?
Once published, editing is not possible. It is a promise with the readers.
What happens after the open period ends?
Readers can no longer view the minibook. It will not appear in search results.
The author can still go to “MY – My Journey ” and view the cover and pages.
Do you want to republish because the content of the pages is good?
You cannot republish using the same cover. But if you create a new cover, you can publish again.
You can reuse the pages by doing “Add a page” to the new cover.
What happens when a page belongs to multiple minibooks with different open periods?
The open period for that page will be determined by the minibook with the latest end date. Therefore, as long as one minibook with an active open period exists, the page can still be viewed.
